Welcome to Insomnia Studyroom: A Note About Our Beta

A welcome note for our first visitors, with an honest overview of the lessons currently available, the features still in development, and what to expect during the beta period.

Welcome to Insomnia Studyroom

Welcome, and thank you for visiting Insomnia Studyroom. This website is being built as an independent learning space where curious students can explore structured lessons, practise important ideas, and study at their own pace.

Our aim is to make difficult mathematics and science topics feel more approachable through clear explanations, worked examples, quizzes, practice problems, and a study-focused blog. The site is still young, but we hope it can gradually become a useful place to review a topic, check your understanding, and discover a reason to keep learning.

What is available now

The current beta includes text-based course materials, especially for AP Precalculus and AP Calculus. Lessons use formulas, graphs, examples, and topic-by-topic explanations. Quizzes and practice problems are also available, and each question includes an expandable answer and solution so that students can review their reasoning immediately.

The blog will continue to publish original articles about mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, education, and admissions-related topics. Focus tools such as study sounds, timers, a clock, and a scientific calculator are also included as part of the studyroom experience.

Video lectures are not available yet

There are currently no lecture videos on the site. For now, the courses are designed as written, self-paced learning materials. Video lessons may be considered as the project develops, but we do not want to promise a release date before we can produce them at a useful and consistent quality.

If you prefer learning through video, please understand that this beta is not yet a complete replacement for a video course. The present goal is to improve the written lessons, examples, quizzes, and practice experience first.

What “beta” means for this website

Insomnia Studyroom is still in beta testing. We are actively finding and correcting errors in formulas, notation, wording, layout, navigation, responsive design, and interactive features. Some lessons may be revised, expanded, reorganized, or temporarily unavailable while these improvements are made.

Account registration, sign-in, Mypage, and saved study-history features are currently paused for the public version. Students can still read lessons and work through quizzes and practice problems without an account, but personal progress and incorrect-answer records will not be saved during this period.

Although we review the materials carefully, beta content may still contain mistakes. Students should compare important exam dates, admissions requirements, course policies, and other time-sensitive information with the relevant official source before making decisions.

What we are working on next

  • Correcting mathematical, scientific, typographical, and rendering errors.
  • Improving lesson explanations, graphs, examples, quizzes, and worked solutions.
  • Making navigation and reading layouts clearer across desktop and mobile screens.
  • Expanding original blog articles and admissions-related updates.
  • Reviewing account and study-record features before making them public again.

Corrections, feedback, and copyright concerns

If you find an incorrect formula, a broken page, unclear wording, or another problem, your report can help improve the beta. Please describe the page and the issue as specifically as possible when contacting us.

Insomnia Studyroom aims to publish independently prepared educational explanations, examples, and practice materials. If you believe any material may raise a copyright concern, please contact us at insomnia0104@163.com. We will review the concern promptly and make any appropriate correction.

Thank you for joining us early

Building a dependable learning resource takes time, careful review, and many rounds of correction. Thank you for visiting while Insomnia Studyroom is still taking shape. We hope the materials already available are useful, and we appreciate your patience as the site becomes clearer, more accurate, and more complete.
